This gallery is composed of a small sampling of the historical images that I colorized for various uses in multiple history magazines by Weider History. All the effect work was done using Photoshop with multiple layers requiring various masking & coloring techniques.
The original black & white photos are shown in the upper corners for comparison.

Here are some samples of things I like to photograph. I generally enjoy macro/up-close photos. I enjoy capturing textures, flowers, architecture, or my wonderful black lab, Oscar.
Here are a few samples of some design work I’ve done over the past few years. Most of my freelance/personal work is image related but these are some projects I got to create a final finished product.

Here is a small sampling of various items I had been tasked with silhouetting off various types of backgrounds. I employ a meriad of techniques to obtain good silo's. Whether it was wand/lasso, pen tool, or paint out the object in quick mask mode. All those methods were used across the images shown here. These images appeared in Civil War Times magazine published by Weider History Group.
